Electrolux and Tetsuya work closely together, drawing upon the heritage and expertise of Electrolux in appliances, while tapping into the chef’s unrivalled hands-on experience in the kitchen.

Ongoing, Tetsuya regularly liaises with the Sydney-based Electrolux Regional Design Director, Lars Erikson, continually giving feedback on his usage of the appliances and discussing his thoughts and ideas on design. This relationship helps Electrolux continually evolve and advance each new generation of its appliance. Key to Electrolux’s offering is to ensure that the domestic and commercial chef is always at the forefront of every appliance design.

In 2005, Tetsuya visited the Electrolux Professional cooking appliances plant in Porcia, Italy, where he spent a day with the company’s design team analysing new innovations and trends in the cooking field, looking at how it can continually advance its products to meet new customer needs.

Tetsuya also runs a series of exclusive Masterclasses at the restaurant’s Electrolux Gallery private kitchen and dining room, whereby a select few invited guests are treated by the maestro himself to a cooking class. During the occasion, Tetsuya always takes the time to demonstrate the wonders of Electrolux’s induction cooktops, a personal favourite of his.
